Our Second Award Comes From London
With the intention of continuing to promote a truly unique aguardiente, Desquite participated in the fifth edition of the London Spirits Competition.
The London Spirits Competition “highlights those spirits brands that consumers really want to buy,” and where it was judged by 64 representatives from the most prestigious restaurants, bars, and hotels in England. On this occasion, more than 2,500 spirits from 80 countries participated.
After being evaluated in three essential aspects for the competition (quality, value for money, and packaging), our crafted aguardiente, produced in the country’s first independent distillery, won a BRONZE medal.
The judges highlighted its authentic mountain botanicals, anise flower, and its “spicy finish.”
This is a new recognition for Desquite and gives us more reasons to believe in a quality beverage that represents us as Colombia’s, aguardiente.
