Moscow Mule

A less sweet and more refreshing version of the famous mule.

Ingredients

  • 60 ml of AGUARDIENTE DESQUITE
  • 15 ml of lime juice
  • 15 ml of ginger syrup (Instructions below)
  • Ice
  • 50 ml of club soda
  • Sprigs of mint for Garnish

Preparation

For the ginger syrup:

In a pot, add 400 g of brown sugar, 500 g of hot water, and 200 g of minced ginger. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and let it simmer for 20-30 minutes. Turn off the heat and let it cool.

For the cocktail

  1. In an old fashioned glass, add the lime juice, syrup, AGUARDIENTE DESQUITE and ice.
  2. Stir.
  3. Add the soda.
  4. Stir lightly.
  5. Garnish with two sprigs of mint.
