Crafting Brilliant Cocktails with Erin Rose
Erin Rose is a brilliant American bartender based in Colombia, and the director of bars for the Takami group in Bogotá, which owns over 21 high-end restaurants across 5 brands.
Her bar program focuses on combining local ingredients with elements of classic and modern mixology, with the goal of contributing to a uniquely Colombian cocktail culture.
Erin has traveled throughout Colombia, discovering its flavors, learning about the long list of crafted spirits produced, and imagining ways to highlight their authenticity in order to present a Colombian personality in all of her cocktails.
She has been present at international conferences such as Tales of the Cocktail, Toronto Cocktail Conference, and Barra México. Her work has been featured in publications like Travel & Leisure, New York Magazine, Imbibe, and Revista Credencial.
We invited Erin to help us create our first series of Desquite cocktails that would enrich and highlight the flavor of our first crafted aguardiente.
