The first crafted aguardiente from Colombia to win a Silver Medal at the SFWSC
Desquite participated in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2022, one of the most important Spirits competitions in the world, which awards the best distilled spirits in all major categories.
This year, nearly 4,000 brands were evaluated by over thirty industry experts.
As a result, our crafted aguardiente, distilled and bottled at source by the hands of local farmers at Hacienda La Carlina, in San Francisco de Sales, Colombia, was awarded a SILVER medal in the competition that has been taking place for over two decades, an accolade given to spirits “that demonstrate dedication, delicacy, and complexity, winners that are among the best examples in their categories,” according to the judges.
This recognition reaffirms the quality of what is being done in Colombia.
